Temporary admission card for recycling centre

Residents of Leuven can access the recycling centre with their identity card. Have you just moved or are you still renovating? Are you a student? Or do you own property in Leuven? Then you will need a temporary access card to bring waste to the recycling centre. 

Who can apply for a temporary access card?

  • Residents who have recently moved and whose identity card has not yet been updated.
  • Future residents of Leuven who are renovating in Leuven.
  • Temporary residents of Leuven, e.g. students.
  • People who own property in Leuven but do not live there themselves, such as landlords.
  • People who do not have an identity card (temporarily).

For whom not?

  • Residents of Leuven
    They have access with their identity card.
  • Entrepreneurs
    They are not allowed to bring their commercial waste or waste from works in Leuven to the recycling centre.

Price

The temporary access card is free, but you pay a deposit of €50. You will get it back when you return the card.

How do you request a temporary access card?

Visit us during opening hours. You will receive the card immediately.
