Sculpture attic of the Town Hall
In the sculpture loft, we preserve original sculptures and casts of the Town Hall facade. You will be able to visit the attic in the future. But first, we need to restore the attic space. We are preparing for that now.
What work do we carry out?
- We are clearing out the attic. It involves a total of 880 works in plaster and limestone.
- A large number of facade statues have already been packed and cleaned in the attic of the Town Hall, under the supervision of M Leuven.
- Later the images are temporarily moved to a warehouse.
- The statues will return when the town hall reopens.
