Moving to Leuven or within Leuven? You need to declare your new address to the city office.

If you go abroad for more than one year, you have to let the city know.

Will you be absent from your address for more than three months, but plan to return within a year? If so, you do not need to change your address. You do need to report your temporary absence and your return to the city.

With a permit you can park in zones for free, without needing a parking disk. You can request a maximum of 2 parking permits per address.
