Who can apply for this?

Certificate less than 75 years old

• Your legal representative
  For example, your parent, adoptive parent or guardian if you are a minor.
• Other person
  If adding proof of legitimate interest.
  • Your spouse or partner with whom you legally cohabit
  • Your parent or child
  • Your heir
  • Someone else
    Then this person also has to add a consent from the person the certificate is about. Is that person deceased? Then a consent of an heir is needed.

Certificate 75 years old or more

Anyone can apply for this.

When will you receive the document?

• Self-applying with your electronic identity card
  You will usually receive the document immediately in your mailbox.
• Applied for someone else with your electronic identity card
  You will receive the document in your mailbox after verification.
• Applied for without electronic identity card
  You will receive the document at your official address after approximately 5 business days.
• Applied via e-mail
  • You will receive the document at your official address after about 5 working days.
  • You can also ask to collect the document at the city office, without appointment.
