ROOTS organizes leisure activities each Fridaynight for newcomers aged 18 and over.
Leisure and meeting
ROOTS organizes low-threshold activities such as cooking together, sports and cultural celebrations. Everyone is welcome to participate.
We place strong emphasis on a family atmosphere. This way, loneliness does not get a chance and we develop a warm home base for the newcomers. During the activities, they broaden their network and meet other people from Leuven.

Every Friday evening we organize a fun activity:

- Game

Support and empowerment
ROOTS is more than just fun activities. The newcomers practice Dutch and receive guidance with their questions and needs. We put them in contact with social workers.
We emphasize what is possible. Newcomers are strengthened and find their way better in Leuven. They can make their voices heard and show off their talents.
