Biodegradable waste (GFT) container or sticker

Bulky refuse can be collected from your home (against payment). You can ask the municipal services to do this.

Do you live in the city centre? In that case you don’t need a GFT container or sticker. We collect the biodegradable waste in green compostable bags.

Biodegradable waste (GFT) sticker

When

  • In January each time you need a new sticker for that year.
  • The container must have a valid sticker on it before 1 March.

Prices and quantity

  • Green 40-litres container: 1 sticker of € 27
  • Green 120-litres container: 1 sticker of € 65
  • Grey 240-litres container: 2 stickers of € 65

Discount after 31 March

If you buy a gft sticker after 31 March in the year of your move, you pay less:

  • 1 April to 30 June
    You pay 75% of the price.
  • 1 July to 30 September
    You pay 50% of the price.
  • 1 October 1 to 31 December
    You pay 25% of the price.

Damage to the sticker

You can still read the sticker number

Come to the city's Public Works/Sanitation with the proof of purchase of the sticker or a photo of the damaged sticker. You will receive a new sticker.

You can't read the sticker number anymore

Then you report the theft.

  1. File a report with the police.
  2. Come to the city's Public Works/Sanitation with the declaration. You will receive a new sticker.
