Container for biodegradable waste (GFT)
In the sub-municipalities, we collect organic waste in a container. You can choose between 3 sizes of containers. The container must have a valid sticker.
You can have a container delivered, exchanged or picked up at home, free of charge.

You may only offer one container per address for collection.

AttentionYou must have a valid sticker for organic waste on the container. You buy the sticker once a year.
Request, exchange or collect a GFT container
For whom?
- You do not have a container yet. You want to request one.
- Your container is broken or stolen. You want to request a new one.
- Your container is too big or too small. You want to exchange it.
- You no longer use the container. You want it collected.
How does it work?
- We will deliver, exchange, or collect the container on the Wednesday following your request.
- Do we collect an old container?
- Place the container on the sidewalk in front of your home next Wednesday before 7:00. The container should preferably be empty.
- Does your old container have a sticker? We'll put a free replacement sticker in your mailbox.
- Does your old container not have a sticker? You can purchase the organic waste sticker yourself at the city office.
AttentionApplications on Tuesdays
We close applications every Monday at midnight. If you submitted an application on Tuesday, we will visit you the following Wednesday.
