2 people living together can make a declaration of registered partnership (legal cohabiting contract) at the city office.

Conditions

  • You are least 18 years old.
  • You are legally capable of entering into binding contracts.
  • You are not married to or have no registered partnership with anyone else.

How to terminate a declaration?

  • One of the partners has died.
  • One of the partners has married someone else.
  • Both partners make a declaration at the municipality where one of the partners lives

  • 1 partner makes a declaration in the municipality where they live. If one partner makes the declaration, they have to pay the costs of notification by the bailiff to the other partner.
