Call the free emergency number 1722 or report the problem online.
In case of (life) danger?
Call the free emergency number 112.
What to do in case of water damage?
- Contact your insurance provider to see if any repairs are covered.
Read more about insurance in case of flooding (in Dutch). - Contact a professional (plumber, roofer ...) to carry out the repairs.
- Report your damage to Vlaams Rampenfonds (in Dutch).
Sandbags
The city does not distribute sandbags proactively. Go to a hardware store to get sandbags.
Are you experiencing flooding? Call 016 31 72 00. The fire brigade will distribute sandbags where necessary in case of severe weather.
